Campfire Meals
So yes I know you are crammed for time during the Holidays
You work a full time job.
You take the kids here there and everywhere.
You clean the house.
You let the dog out.
You need to get Christmas shopping
done.
Can’t forget the Christmas parties.
I think you get my point. We are all just busy busy busy this time of
year. So you’re are thinking……. Who has
time to cook? Who has time for anything
right?
I love cooking these right here. We call them the campfire meals, because yes
you can cook them on a campfire.
You can prepare these in 10 to 15
minutes tops with any size family. Takes
about an hour to an hour and a half to cook in the oven.
Pictured is Chicken, potato’s cut up
(just so they get some flavor and cook faster), carrots, and onion. I add some butter, salt and pepper, and
natures seasoning for taste. But you can
add whatever suites you and your taste buds.
Usually I will use red potato, but did
not have any. I also would put a small
quarter size ear of corn, but again was out of that. LOL
Who wants to run to the store?
As seen in the pic, I just put
everything in tin foil and shape into a bowl, and then add a piece over the
top. Place in the oven and bake on 350
till potato is soft and ready.
Hope you guys enjoy these. We love them and I love them for a quick meal
and not a lot of hassle for last minute.
